I like figures that are never boring. I don't just mean action figures like figmas or nendoroids, but even PVC and Scale figures that you just never get tired of looking at, because they're cute or beautiful or have nice details.
I also like when figures reflect the character. When I see a figure of my favorite character and the pose, paint, sculpt, and everything fits them so well (such as the new Good Smile Kaori Miyazono) I'm immediately drawn to it.
My figure collection isn't that impressive yet since I'm still an amateur, and I have yet to buy a "bad" figure, but I guess I'd just say what everyone is thinking: Bootlegs. I know some people collect them, but they just look too sad for me. The spirit just isn't there.
